KY-003 Digital Hall Effect / Magnetism Sensor for DevBoards & Arduino (3144E)

Using a 3144E Hall effect sensor, in a compact but expandable form factor, this small board allows you to measure magnetic fields and produces a digital output.

Paired with a small magnet, you can use to measure velocity or otherwise count passes. The PCB has a status/indicator LED and two mounting holes.

Due to the 680Ω resistor it is not meant to be suitable for 3.3V digital, but this has not been tested. Maximum rated is 24V DC.

Pins

1. - (Negative) Connect to GND
2. + (Positive) Connect to 5V
3. S (Signal) Connect to your digital-in

The sensor line is pulled low when a magnetic field is detected.
