Overview

IR Detector Module has a built-in IR transmitter and IR receiver that transmits and then looks for reflected IR light to detect the presence of any obstacle in front of it.

The module has an onboard potentiometer that lets the user adjust the detection range with good and stable response even in ambient light or in complete darkness.

The sensor module can be interfaced with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or any microcontroller having an IO voltage level of 3.3V to 5V.
